What can i say, seriously the friendliest and most helpful and amazing designers i met throughout my search for the perfect gown. Her love for fashion and creating unique pieces inspired her to study fashion design at Sydney University. After graduating, fate stepped in when Mary and Dimmy were introduced by a mutual acquaintance , they began working together and soon after the Bizzaro bridal name was born. The two have happily been business partners since then and continue to go from strength to strength. |

Frequently Asked Questions
The price of each gown is dependent on several variables: style, degree of difficulty, fabrics, lace, amount of beading and so on. We understand that most brides are working within a budget and prefer to have some idea of what designers charge before they make an appointment. Bizzaro gowns average between $5000-$7000 . Prices start at $4800.00 for couture gowns.
How much must I leave as a deposit? A $1000.00 deposit is required at the time of your booking. The balance of your payments will be clearly outlined on your fittings schedule, which you will receive by email and post within 2 weeks of booking your Bizzaro Gown. What payment options are available at Bizzaro?Preferred payments methods at Bizzaro include cash, cheque, direct deposit and Internet banking (EFT). We do not have credit card or eftpos facilities in store.
How long does it take to make a gown? Although booking are sometimes confirmed as long as 18 months prior to the wedding date the majority of the work takes place in the 4-5 months leading up to the wedding. This is just a guide as the time to make a gown can change depending on the work involved. On occasion, fabrics, laces and crystals can be out of stock and could take as long as 3-4 months to arrive from over seas. Early bookings wherever possible helps everything run without stress for all involved. What guarantee do I have that everything will be perfect and on time? Bizzaro Bridal is one of Australia’s most reputable and established couture studios (since 1991 in the same premises). Ambassadors of the Australian Bridal Industry Academy, members of the ABIA Hall of Fame, winner of the nationally recognised Designer of Dreams award and also winners of over a dozen ABIA awards for excellence in the supply of Couture Bridal Gowns, Bridal Jewellery and Bridesmaids Gowns. Over 1500 brides have been catered for at Bizzaro and have been very happy and satisfied with the finished product and quality of work. Many clients come from referrals and word of mouth, proving that Bizzaro brides are happy brides who are spreading the word. Every gown is made through a series of fittings. Your fittings are established and you are given a fittings schedule shortly after your deposit is paid, making sure that your couture experience is organized and stress free. The first and second fittings are concentrated on the toile. This is a mock up of your design made in calico (cotton fabric). This is done to establish the line of the gown and to refine the position of main design lines. The toile is molded and fitted to the brides body and then is used as a custom pattern when cutting the gown in fabric. Your gown will evolve in each fitting and you have the flexibility and the opportunity to alter any aspects of the design in its progression if you desire to do so. As proud business owners, it is not in our interest to have you leave our store with anything but a huge smile and a drop dead gorgeous gown. Will I be dealing with the designer after I have booked my Bizzaro gown? Yes, we believe that it is very important to work with every Bizzaro bride personally. The person who designs your gown will be your personal Bizzaro liaison from conception to completion. Can you design and make my Brides Maids gowns?Yes, if you have booked your gown at Bizzaro we are able to offer you this service. Bridesmaids’ gowns and flower girl dresses are made to measure and are designed to compliment the bridal gown and theme of the wedding. Prices start from $950 for bridesmaids and from $450 for flower girl dresses. We also offer simple style off the rack for your brides maids $200 - $400 Bizzaro can add embellishing for a reasonable added fee.
I have no idea what I want! Do I have to know before meeting with a designer? At Bizzaro we are here to help, we will design a gown for you by asking a series of questions about the wedding and your likes and dislikes. We will go through our sample styles with you and determine a silhouette that most flatters your figure type and then move onto discussing and selecting the finer details. Gowns are our specialty; we will make sure that you look and feel stunning on your wedding day. I live interstate, where can I buy a Bizzaro Gown? Bizzaro Gowns are made to measure and therefore they are not available anywhere but the Bizzaro studio in Sydney. We cater for many interstate brides and have done so for the past 2 decades. Rural and Interstate brides are offered a condensed VIP fitting schedule which requires only 2 day trips to Sydney for the gown to be completed. Saving on accommodation and flight expenses. Can I come in and browse prior to making an appointment? Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate browsers. To maintain the high level of Bizzaro quality and service, we work by appointment so that we give brides a 1 on 1 experience and our undivided attention.Keywords
