Appointed Bridal Industry Associate, Australian Bridal Industry Academy Affiliate member Women's Network Australia It is important to mark rites of passage in our lives and it is appropriate that we can have ceremonies that reflect our individuality. Through crafting ceremonies that are true to the person or persons involved , we can share our important milestones with family and friends in a way that is truthful, beautiful and memorable. I live in northern Sydney but enjoy travelling to all parts of Sydney to conduct ceremonies. I find it very interesting and rewarding to meet the people who are planning a wedding, a civil commitment, a naming, or any other ceremony. I love going to different places for weddings and other ceremonies; places which are special to the lives of those involved. I have been an English and History teacher, but over the years, have became more and more interested in the importance of ritual and ceremony in our lives and hence I became a civil marriage celebrant. I believe that I am a good listener and a good communicator and really enjoy working with couples to create ceremonies. |

Frequently Asked Questions
You need two witnesses over the age of 18 who have witnessed and understood your wedding ceremony. They can be relatives if you wish.
Can we have the style of ceremony that we want?Of course you can! There are certain legal words that must be spoken and you and your witnesses must sign the register. For the rest of your ceremony, I will write an individual ceremony that is true to you and your wishes.
What is the first thing we should do once we have decided to get married?Book your celebrant and your venue. When you meet with your celebrant, you will need to complete a Notice of Intended Marriage and lodge it with her. This must be done at least one month & one day, and no more than 18 months, before the date of your wedding.
