Taking photographs has been a passion of mine for many years, but it wasn't until I got hold of my first serious camera I began to learn the Art of Photography. I hit the ground running and I have never looked back.
There are thousands of different ways to take a picture, new technology to develop and new methods to master. Its an ever-changing and exciting industry that I love being a part of. New ideas and opportunities are part of my daily routine, something that I could never loose interest in."
Where it began…
Originally I started as an Event Photographer. When I made the decision to cross over into Wedding Photography I knew two things were going happen:1 - The death-look I will get from my wife when she knew it meant more equipment
2 - Endless hours devoted to molding my skills and style to be successful in Wedding Photography. My experience in Event Photography enables me to capture those special moments while adding a twist to make each picture distinctly unique to the special couple on their wedding day. Specialising in Weddings has filled my career with its challenges and rewards. It has trained me to have a completely open mind and has given me so many opportunities to be as creative and artistic as my clients are comfortable with.
"Model Coach" - I strive to keep my clients comfortable and confident. When clients are completely relaxed the best photos are possible. "Ninja" - Being invisible allows me capture raw emotion and essence of a particular moment in time. Mixing my two styles on the day results in a diverse collection of special moments, giving my clients a broad range of memories to keep.
Inspirations and Motivations...
I draw inspiration from all things but more frequently my family and friends.
National and International photographers influence me daily. I enjoy individual and unique styles and often draw from Street, Art or Music categories for new ideas.

Frequently Asked Questions
All computer monitors are different and because there is a huge range of them out there the color settings have a big part in this. At Eric Chavez photography I calibrate my monitor to ensure picture color quality is accurate, so they look perfect from the moment I view them my monitor to when I send them off to get printed. This is done by using a calibration tool which all photographers or videographers use.Do I get digital negatives?
The digital negatives are provided on a CD/DVD. This will purely be images that are printable for any local printing company, but if you require the Hi-Resolution negatives this can be purchased for an additional $300
I do recommend how ever getting a package with an album as your prints will be professionally done in the highest quality using professional printers.What type of album sizes do you offer?
All Pacakages offer Square Albums in both 12 x 12 Couples Album and 8 x 8 parents album
Additional cost to the package for bigger sizes square and Landscape albums.
16x 12 couples album and 8x 12 Parents Album
How much time do we need to organize for Photos during our wedding day?
I can’t stress enough that this is critical to getting AWESOME pictures so as much as you can, as it is in your best interest that I am able to work with you being relaxed and not pressured or pushed for time.
Here is an outline of the Estimate time for each section of the wedding not including the travel time to and from different locations;
Brides house 2 hours
Grooms house 1 hour
After ceremony 2 hours at location, more if there is 2 locations that are desired.
times above are a rought estimate, as it may take less.
I will design the album to flow as a story of the entire day, This is done after I have done the editing of the images. I will ensure that we have a sit-down to discuss the final images that will be used within the album itself before it gets sent to the printers.
Within 4-5 weeks after the wedding All images will be ready and I will be sure to post a few sneak peeks on my Facebook page.
Final Package and Wedding Albums will take upto 30 days once final outlay and meterials have been choosen. Reason for this time frame is that all albums are carefully Handmade and put together.
