We were married in March 2012. I had seen some of Melinda and Matts photos from friends at work and had heard good reviews. When I made enquiries, Melinda went out of her way to make us feel that our requests were valued and carefully listened to.
We had a fantastic day. Melinda made sure that we were relaxed and knew how to get the best out of our photos for our special day. She took the time to view the church and reception venue in order to see how she could show us off on the day. Melinda was tirelessly patient in taking photos that got the best out of all of us, from the guests at the wedding to the 14 month old flower girl, who was extremely excited.
Our day was such a personal one that seemed to fly by. Melinda and Matt helped us to reminisce on so many special memories by providing us with photos that captured the essence of our day, the mood, colours and setting were perfect and we are very grateful to Melinda and Matt. I would readily recommend them to anyone who is looking for a personal service of extremely high standards. I cant thank them enough!

Melinda Hird is one of the world's great romantics. She's become our family's photographer, having taken wonderful photos of my nephew as a newborn, my engagement, wedding and recently our own newborn photos - with each experience better than the last.
Her passion for romance and love oozes out of her pores. And her caring but encouraging manner helps you to relax in front of the camera.
Laughing that she's just been bitten but refusing to lose time getting our family wedding shots, Mel's dedication is unmatched. Turns out she was standing in a bull ants nest!
I was considering begging her to become my baby's nanny after seeing the way she melted into Mel's arms. She can only be described as a natural - born to capture every beautiful moment in her sight.
Seemingly everywhere at once, I can say that you will get more than you expect with Mel.

I just wanted to thank Melinda for all her hard work and good advice. We had our engagement shoot a couple of weeks ago with Melinda and from not knowing what to expect I found Melinda to be completely professional. She offered us great advice on how to be and relax in front of the camera (something I'm not used to!). The photos came out amazing and so natural. We had such a good day and I can't wait till our wedding to see how those photos will turn out!

My husband & I have had the incredible fortune of having Melinda take our wedding photos back in 2007, our pregnancy shoot in 2010 & our newborn / family photos at the start of 2011. I'm not an overly confident photo model infact quite the opposite however, Mel has a way of making you feel so relaxed infront of the camera, for many of our shoots I didn't even notice her taking the photos till I saw them in print!
Mel is so artistically blessed but even more important she manages to capture feeling in her photos, in a split second I'm taken back to the most special moments in our life, we couldn't be happier!
We can't thank you enough for all that you have given our family, we will cherish our photos forever as I'm sure our children will as they grow.

Melinda Hird photographed my wedding day, my photos were beautiful, she really has an eye for capturing THE moment, the photos were so natural. I have used Melinda since for my 1st and 2nd pregnancy photos, my family photos and my newborn photos. During each photo shoot Melinda made me and my family feel very comfortable and her patience with the children was god sent . You can really tell how much she loves her job, her energy and passion made each session very enjoyable. I highly recommend Melinda and will continue to use her service for all future special occasions.

Melinda photographed our little boy, Sam at 4 months and we are delighted with the photos!
Melinda was a joy to work with. She was incredibly competent, relaxed, flexible and helpful (all which are very important whilst photographing a baby). The whole process went incredibly well, and we are so happy with the output! Couldn't recommend her more highly.

My wife and I travelled to Sydney to renew our wedding vows on our 20th anniversary, and hired Melinda to capture the ceremony, as well as some photos at various scenic spots in Sydney. Melinda was fantastic to work with. She told us she was passionate about photography, and it showed. It was obvious to both myself and my wife that Melinda really loves what she does. Once we were able to access our photos, we were thrilled with the results. We could not be happier with how they turned out! I would strongly recommend Melinda as a photographer for any occasion. She's the best

Melinda captured a very special time in our lives. Our pregnancy and the birth of our beautiful son. I would highly recommend Melinda for any special occasion you wish to capture. I recently got married on the 5th of June 2011 and I truly realized how important it is to get the right photographer. You need some one who puts you at ease, who is positive and and full of energy and who has a genuine interest in you on you enjoying your special day, whilst capturing your special moments - that's what you get from hiring Melinda. All mt guests loved Melinda and she was wonderful to work with! although my husband and I had been together we never realized how hard it was to shoot photo's naturally together, Melinda put us at ease and made us feel comfortable. I would highly recommended her to anyone for any occasion on any day! Melinda you and Matt were fantastic and will always be a part of our wonderful day and forever in our memory
