Business Overview

Relaxed, creative and shoot everything as it happens. Voted Top 10 in Knot Magazine awards 2010 and 2nd place in ABIA Queensland awards 2009. 10 years experience.

Wedding photography is my speciallity and I want you to come away with a timeless and classic collection of photos that tell the whole story of your day, and I don't hold back - I shoot everything as it happens.

Clean post production and plenty of black and white is my style. My approach is relaxed with minimal direction. I record everything and anything and love to shoot the action once the party gets going! Family photos and artistic portraits are definitely included and can be a very small or a very big part of the day, depending on your requirements. Have a browse through my blog enteries and you'll get a good feel for my approach. You can expect at least 550 pictures for 6 hours coverage. Thorough post production and all digital negatives to print up to 8x12 inches are included.

A bit about me: After finishing my Fine Arts degree in Photomedia I started shooting friend's weddings and haven't stopped. I generally shoot on my own and use professional Nikon digital equipment. I juggle my shooting with motherhood which is very rewarding and sometimes challenging, but I wouldn't have it any other way!

I've just been voted in the top 10 photographers in Australia list by The Knot magazine which is fab!

Frequently Asked Questions

How many photos do I get?

Typically 600 - 1100 photos depending on how much coverage you have. All black and white photos are also given to you in colour on your DVD for printing.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes, $500 to secure your booking. The rest is due any time before the day.

What equipment do you use?

I use full frame 35mm Nikon equipment.

Is travel included in your prices?

Travel within 150km of Sydney is included. This includes Sydney, Newcastle, Blue Mountains, Bowral, Kiama area.

Do you shoot tea ceremonies?

Of course :)

How soon do I get my pictures?

Your web gallery of all images will be up on your own personal site 3 weeks after your wedding (although sometimes a little longer if it is peak seaon) and your high resolution DVDs will be delivered to you the week after your gallery is uploaded.

What albums do you offer?

My album supplier is Queensberry. I offer everything from coffee table press books, modern flushmount albums printed on textured art paper, or traditional matted albums. I also have lots of other things like prints, canvases, thank you cards etc.

Where are you based? Do you have a studio?

I am now based in Sydney (previously in Brisbane) and work from home in the north shore of Sydney. I visit my couples at their house for meetings.

Do you offer the digital (high resolution) negatives?

Yes, all my couples receive their high resolution files with copyright to print up to 8x12 inches. Larger files are available upon request at no extra cost :)

Do you shoot on your own?

I have a second photographer that assists me for the first 4 hours of every shoot (which means more candid shots!!), otherwise I shoot on my own.
