When you're planning your wedding, you may like to opt for a wedding dress that isn't white.

Wearing a white wedding dress traditionally creates a pure, wholesome impression. White is a very stark colour, and a white wedding dresses don't always suit certain complexions. Many women opt for ivory, cream, or pearl wedding dresses.

But if you want to be more daring and have a wedding dress that isn't white. Consider the meanings associated with other colours if you're interested in coloured wedding dresses:

  • Pink - femininity, health, love, joy.
  • Purple -sensuality, creativity, royalty, wealth.
  • Blue -confidence, peace, tranquillity, loyalty.
  • Yellow -joy, hope, courage, friendship .
  • Red - passion, sex, excitement, love.
