All your Wedding needs
17 September 2008
Wedding budgets seem to just get bigger and bigger as time goes on. If you don't think you can afford a massive wedding, don't be taken aback. In previous times the average wedding has been a simple affair for most, with only the richest spending big on a wedding. Taking a frugal attitude to your wedding can be wise if you have other financial commitments to tend to, but it can also lead to surprising innovation that can mean a more memorable wedding experience.
You may not be able to hire a wedding planner or wedding planning services if you have a small budget, so you will need to make use of the human resources you have available in order to organise all the aspects of your wedding. Find those of your friends and family who are interested in helping you out and have them meet on a regular basis so that you can divide the work that needs to be done in order to organise your wedding. Remember the old adage that a busy person will get things done faster than a person who has a lot of free time and give the most important jobs to people who are demonstrably well-organised.
Be careful not to impose on the time of your friends and family too much, but be firm about the timeframe that you need things completed by. Try not to divide responsibilities too much as this will make it difficult for you to organise anything, and never give people responsibilities as a team as they will probably never get anything done.
