Studying clothing and Fashion for 4 years and making doll clothes for years before that, Shona McCarthy had a consistent love of making clothes, but found that she was out of place in a fashion world largely concerning itself with coming up with new ideas whilst abandoning beautiful traditions. Do you dress men and women? Yes. Dressing assistance comes free with any kimono rental. Dressing assistance normally costs $20. I can also teach kimono dressing for $25/class. How much does kimono rental cost? For standard kimono $50/week including free rental of any needed accessories. For premium kimono there is a $25 surcharge. For uchikake $100/week. $100 deposit applies for all rentals. Individual items are also rented, priced on request. Do you do dressmaking? I do some small alterations and wil make dresses if paid generously, but I tend to stick to kimono, kimono accessories and related items most of the time.
