The picturesque Wandin Hunter Valley is situated in the Lovedale area of the Lower Hunter Valley on the slopes of the Molly Morgan Mountains with views over Pokolbin towards the Brokenback Range. A perfect backdrop for your perfect day - a unique venue to create memories that will last a lifetime.
Our 100 acre estate set amongst rolling vineyards, beautifully manicured lawns and natural bushland provides the ideal setting for your wedding. Let our events team take you on a guided tour of the most picturesque locations on the property and you will find the most charming spot that will make your ceremony unique.
There are numerous sites on the property that provide the perfect backdrop for your wedding ceremony. From a site amongst the vines with sweeping views of the Brokenback Range to an alter nestled in a eucalypt grove or the courtyard garden, we're sure you will find something for your exclusive use.
The Barrel Room
The Barrel Room is the quintessential Hunter Valley Wedding venue. Exuding classic wine country flair, the ambience of the working barrel store is truly unique. Adorned by our iconic chandelier, the truly romantic ambience makes this ceremony venue the most popular at Wandin.
The Cricketers Pavilion
Overlooking the Wandin Estate cricket ground is the Cricketers Pavilion, our dedicated function venue seating up to 120 guests comfortably. The room itself contains a baby grand piano, a dance floor area and band space, working log fireplace, glass windows overlooking the vineyard and lovely high-pitched ceilings. The covered verandah overlooking the cricket oval is ideal for dancing at the end of the formal proceedings and it can be open or closed, depending on the time of year and weather conditions.

Luxury on site Tuscan style villas & exclusive guest offers allows those closest to you to share all your special moments. The Estate can accommodate 34 people in 5 comfortably appointed villas with double & single bedrooms, en suite bathrooms, log fireplaces and outdoor patios.
Our sister venue, Warraroong Estate, a mere two minute drive from Wandin boasts Claremont House, a Georgian-style manor, and The Winemaker's Cottage that can accommodate a further 18 members of your party in style and comfort.

Frequently Asked Questions
Wandin has a range of centerpieces to help you decorate your function. Our range includes glass vases, iron candelabras, mirrors and tea lights. Should you wish to use any of these, they come at no additional cost though we do ask that you bring the flowers to fill vases or the pillar candles to go on the candelabras. We will happily provide 9 hour burning tea light candles.
When can I access the Pavilion to add place cards and flourishes leading up to the reception?
We like to be organized and will often set in advance for events, however if we have a function the night prior to your own, we will only be able to give you limited access to the Pavilion before the reception. Ask our Weddings Manager when this will be.
I want to hold my ceremony at Wandin at 2pm and then have my reception start at 5pm after we have finished taking photos, what can my guests do in between?
We recommend that you hold your ceremony as close to your reception as possible in order to keep your guests entertained. If this is not the case, we can provide refreshments following the ceremony separate from your reception beverage package, on consumption OR lawn games can be set on the cricket pitch (client to provide). Alternately, we can open the Pavilion bar and allow your guests to purchase drinks whilst they wait for you to return.
Book your wedding for the cooler months of June, July or August and we will take 10% off your final bill and ensure the Pavilion fire is roaring when your guests arrive. (conditions apply)
Book all the accommodation here at Wandin for your wedding weekend and we will include the third night stay complimentary for all your guests AND include Studio Piccolina for the Bride and Groom free of charge for three nights. (conditions apply)
