Hi my name is Angie Zerella and I am the founder of The Mindful Sanctuary. I am an authorised civil celebrant, author, early years and adult educator, motivational speaker, wife, and a parent to three beautiful children. I grew up in country Victoria on our family farm and moved to Melbourne in my late teens. After meeting my husband, we left the city and spent 16 years living in different parts of country Victoria, returning to Melbourne 15 years ago. I feel forever grateful to have had this experience, embracing the opportunities life has provided me and my family. I live life to the full and believe it is the right of all people to live a calm, peaceful and fulfilled life. I believe that life should be celebrated which led to me becoming a celebrant. This enables me to support people to find authentic ways to celebrate their special life events and to embrace a life they love. People’s diverse narratives excite me, and I love sharing in people’s stories and life experiences and learning with and celebrating each other. I became a celebrant as I love all that love is, I love life, and I love being with people celebrating their journey through life. It was through my passion for celebrating life that The Mindful Sanctuary was born. Whether an all inclusive full ceremony to a legals only I am here to support you. I even do simple ceremonies in my backyard if a venue is required. So whatever celebration of life you are planning I would love to be your celebrant and walk with you to capture and honour your story and unique style.
