I'm not going to tell you I am the best and done everything without failure, have the latest 'state of the art' gear, provide the most music, and do it cheaper than the rest. You can find enough of that on every other Mobile DJ Service web site - anyone can state anything, can't they! What I will tell you, is that I'm in this business because I have a passion for it, and, I believe you have to love what you do in order to do it well, and to make a success of as many events as possible. The following simply outlines me as a DJ from then, until now... djHUBBA... the name was bestowed upon me many years ago, and stayed... I'm a DJ with broad experience over a substantial professional career as an Event/Pub/Club DJ and Radio Announcer - yes, 'a professional career' - this is what I do - this is all I do - this is all I have ever done... my style... As a 'mobile dj', I think that you need to be across most genres of music, and have the knowledge to play that music with success. And that knowledge only comes from the success, and failures, of playing that music in front of a crowd. experience... For me, it all started in 1976 at Flemington High School's social - at the Kensington Community Hall... from then I spent all my spare time doing the hard yards as a roadie and 'drink boy', while I watched, learned, and was gradually introduced to the turntables. My first paid gig was a wedding, Tatra Hut, Mt Dandenong - 1977. event/club/pub DJ... 1978 - current In this time I've worked at a good majority of Melbourne, Geelong, and Ballarat night clubs and bars, until the mid 1990's. This also involved a very healthy diet of corporate events, weddings, and various types of parties as a Mobile DJ & MC During my time at FoxFM, I was their Traffic Reporter on Breakfast & Drive. I also enjoyed considerable time on the late night music shifts, overnight music shifts, and the occasional weekend breakfast shift, before moving on to co-host the drive show with Jamie Angel between 1997 and 2001. I was also the voice for TAC local and national TV & Radio until roughly 2005 - I still dabble in a little voice over work from time to time. djCONCEPTS... has been a full time venture since leaving the Radio Industry
