Loved Up Weddings started back in 2006 with me and my own wedding experience... My husband and I decided to get married just before Christmas and wanted a very simple ceremony and as with most things we do, we wanted to get married NOW! Unfortunately for us we had not heard of the one month and one day rule so our ceremony wasn't to take place until the Australia Day weekend where we doubled up our wedding plans with the engagement party as well as my husbands birthday then hit it with a surprise wedding ceremony to finish up the night... The drama with us started when we were searching for the celebrant... it was a near impossible task to find a celebrant that matched our personalities and understood what we wanted as well as not costing the earth! We settled for a lovely celebrant who did a nice job but didn't do the ceremony the way we had hoped.... But in saying that, my husband and I are still very happily married with a beautiful little girl and the wedding ceremony is but a distant memory... This is why I vowed to become a marriage celebrant to give all those awesome couples out there who aren't after a traditional ceremony that drags on for ever, the opportunity to meet with me, someone who will LISTEN to what YOU want and help you create a ceremony to remember!
