I booked a 1-on-1 masterclass with Sonia and it was one of the best make-up investments I've done. As a budding professional I wanted to learn how to apply make up to look professional and get an every day look that will help me feel confident. My previous experience has been minimal and very self-learned from the occasional YouTube tutorial or just experimentation. As such I had very little idea about parts of the process and I've been feeling overwhelmed by the number of tutorials online and the products in stores, especially when also trying to figure out what would work well with my skin and hair. The class was tailored perfectly to what I needed and wanted to learn. Sonia's approach is to not just show you one look but tailor your class to various situations, telling you what you can omit or add according to your needs. My class focused on foundation and colour correction as well as eye makeup. I have learned how to apply make up with which brush or sponge, which are used for what and why, as well as how to work with my complexion and chose the right colours to match my skin type (not just colour but which type of product is best and why). Moreover, Sonia gave me a list of the items I should start with as a basis before moving on to other items. She was also conscious of my request for cruelty-free beauty products and focus on quality over quantity. Probably most importantly Sonia explained why each step was done and how each product worked with the skin which is something I think is crucial when going onto doing make up on your own. Investing in Sonia's class is the best thing I could have done at this time for myself and saved me time and money of trying things that would probably fail. Thank you so much Sonia!
