My name is Genevieve Wood, and I am an experienced flute teacher who teaches on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from my home in Gwelup, Western Australia. All ages, from 6 to 96, and all ability levels welcome. I am available for ongoing lessons and also for one-off lessons for exams, auditions or Eisteddfod preparation. I am also available to travel to lessons (by prior arrangement, for a surcharge of $10/lesson) and am more than happy to give advice relating to hiring or purchasing flutes. I have a small number of flutes available for hire, for $30/month - please contact me for more information. (Please note flute hire includes a music stand and electronic metronome.) The initial lesson is free and subsequent lessons are $25/half hour. (Please note that the free initial lesson does not apply where you are seeking a one-off lesson to prepare for exams, auditions or Eisteddfod performances.) Parents are always welcome to 'sit in' on lessons. I am also available for music performance at events such as weddings - please feel free to get in touch regarding your requirements.
