In 2010, at my first job as a software programmer, my boss (Jagath Fernando) saw something in me. He taught me the basic exposure triangle and gave me his Nikon reel camera to go on a wildlife safari trip. That's the day I fell for photography. It is the feeling that this special rays of light created inside a star freeze our loving memories for eternity. That feeling makes me an artist, makes me free, makes me feel I'm helping to freeze the time... Events/People/Landscapes. Because they are so full of life. Freezing someone's loving memory into a photograph, freezing the beauty of nature into a photograph makes me feel an artist. Weddings and events, hotel/resort photography, kids/toddler photography. I really don't know what I did to make them special. But I did my homework, I studied, I visualized the flow and did my best with what I know what I have. My clients become my friends, hence I know there is something special.
