We had an afternoon garden wedding at a friends home with 24 kids in tow and really didn't know where to start with it all. Emma was inspirational in her styling ideas and even at the conceptual stage she was a wealth of knowledge and ideas. We gave her a vague brief along the lines of 'Classy Bali' with enough there to keep the kids happy as well as being a stylish affair for the adults. Her planning was meticulous, her recommendations were on point and the end result was break taking. Along the way she kept us up to date with where we were at budget wise and what to do next. She has a casual but professional approach and the keenest eye for detail offering up suggestions that we would never have thought of whilst asking for our opinions as she went along. The main thing for us was that she handled pretty much all of the arrangements, suggesting fabulous vendors and making decisions on our behalf that were absolutely spot on. When we arrived at the venue on the day and saw the set up for the first time we were literally speechless - it was absolutely the dream wedding and all of our guests both the kids and adults had a fabulous day. She was supportive right up to the wedding (even after!- sending us much needed checklists and her 'homework') and even went out of her way to help us get the style we wanted. We had our wedding at a friend’s home in their garden, following a church ceremony. We wanted it to feel quite formal but with the atmosphere of a party, with neutral spring florals to fit the season but also that complemented the colour scheme of the house. We had very general ideas about the type of wedding that we wanted and its theme. Emma was able to conceptualise and visualise themes and concepts which exceeded our expectations. Emma kept us informed and asked us for our opinions where necessary but for the most part minimised the amount we had to do (and think about!). Emma has a great deal of knowledge and expertise regarding vendors and was able to identify those who she thought would be suited to our wedding and fitted within our budget. Emma had thought-out contingency plans to deal with the possibility of terrible weather. We have received so many compliments regarding all aspects of the wedding (the cake, the décor and our colour scheme, the band, the lighting and our floral arrangements) and are very pleased that our guests enjoyed it as much, if not more, than we did! Emma did a wonderful job within a very short timeframe and was accessible and efficient when dealing with our queries (and last minute nerves!)
